An experienced political and communication strategist with a lifetime of achievements, including working as a campaign and administration aide to President Jimmy Carter, Chip guided the Friends to expand its reach, and to raise public awareness of the Mashpee Public Library’s free resources and services.

Chip is a former Library Trustee, and author of The Lion and the Journalist: The Friendship of Theodore Roosevelt and Joseph Bucklin Bishop, which was a New York Times bestseller in March 2014 as an e-book.
